- This class will cover ladder safety centering around extension, stack, step and telescoping ladders with emphasis on proper set up, inspection, and use based on OSHA 1910.23. It also covers Chemical Safety, Water Fed Pole Safety, Electrical Hazards, Noise Control, Personal Protective Equipment, First Aid and how to write a Job Hazard Analysis. Emphasis is given to residential and commercial fall protection systems while accessing roofs utilizing OSHA 1910.30.

This PWNA developed course is designed to provide and meet the training requirements laid out in OSHA 1910 General Industry Standard with regards to respirator training and fitting. It is a requirement for any employee to wear a respirator while spraying chemicals that require such. The PWNA has developed this class outlining Department of Transportation regulations as they apply to the mobile contractor. The class is designed around DOT 49CFR, FMCSA Regulations HM 100-180 and Transportation 300-400.
As a Company, the representative must pay $249.00 to take the KEC test and must receive a score of 75% for the certification to be registered to that company. This will expire in two years. Upon renewal date, the company or representative needs to demonstrate continued education or re-take the updated test at a reduced fee.
